The Music Express was launched in the Summer of 2005 to provide children aged between 7 and 12 with the opportunity to develop their interest in music and drama.
Our mission is to create a fun-filled, non-threatening environment in which the children feel comfortable and where they can express themselves without fear of failure or ridicule.
The Music Express is run by John Sandford and Alex Bowd who, between them, have over 25 years experience of working with children on music and drama related activities. |

John has been running music workshops for over 7 years, both privately and at primary schools across Sussex. John holds a Certificate of Teaching Diploma from the Royal School of Music and has recently graduated from the Open University with a degree in Humanities with Music. |

Alex is a qualified teacher with a B. Ed (hons) degree from Brighton University. She has been a primary school teacher for 17 years and has taught drama for 19 years to children of all ages. |
